The Town of Paradise today announced that its 2026 municipal budget will be presented on January 29, 2026. The Town requested the extension from the Minister of Municipal and Community Affairs, as required under the Towns and Local Service District Act, and was granted approval for the extension.

The Town of Paradise advises that due to the ongoing construction by Octagon Pond, next to 1655 Topsail Road, the designated public parking area is temporarily closed as of October 27, 2025 until further notice. The Octagon Pond Trail remains open, and trail users can park at the Paradise Double Ice Complex to access the trail or the gravel area in the vicinity of 1717 Topsail Road (future site of the Boat House) to access the trail.
