Town Closures and Scheduling Changes in Observance of Canada Holiday

The Town of Paradise is advising that in observance of Memorial Day/Canada Day on Friday, July 1, 2016, there will be some scheduling changes within the Town operations.Changes are as follows:
- The Town Hall, Rotary Paradise Youth and Community Centre and Paradise Double Ice Complex will be closed for the entire day.
- Paradise Summer Day Camp and Tri-Sport Activities are closed for the day.

The Town of Paradise is seeking local visual artists to take part in the province’s first-ever Paint the Pavement project, a project aimed at building community spirit, encouraging artistic talent, and calming traffic through the use of large street murals.

PSA: Scheduled Road Work to Begin on Acharya Drive

The Town of Paradise advises the public that, starting Monday, June 27, 2016, scheduled road work will begin on Acharya Drive to allow for the installation of a curb, gutters, sidewalks and storm sewers.
Road work will occur at the following times and will run for approximately two months:
- Monday to Thursdays from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.
- Fridays from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- Every second Saturday beginning July 9 from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Town Closures and Scheduling Changes in Observance of Discovery Day Holiday

The Town of Paradise is advising residents that the Town Hall and the Paradise Double Ice Complex will be closed on Monday, June 27, 2016 in observance of the Discovery Day Holiday.
The Rotary Paradise Youth and Community Centre and the Body Quest Fitness Centre will remain open with day camp and tri-sport going ahead as planned.
The Town is also advising residents that there will be no change to garbage and recycling collection.

The Town of Paradise is advising residents of planned detours in the areas of Elizabeth Park Elementary, Paradise Elementary and Holy Family Elementary during the week of June 20, 2016 to accommodate the Town’s ‘Paint the Pavement’ initiative.
