Dianne Whalen Soccer Hut closed for the remainder of the weekend

UPDATE: Sunday, July 9, 10:30 a.m.Field operations and regular soccer programming are going ahead at the Dianne Whalen Soccer Grounds.  The soccer hut remains closed. 

The Town of Paradise advises that the Soccer Hut at the Dianne Whalen Soccer Grounds is closed for the reminder of the weekend. 

An update on field operations and soccer programming will be provided on Sunday morning (July 9).

Town Closures in Observance of Organemen's Day

Paradise Town Hall is closed on Monday, July 10 in observance of the Organemen's Day Holiday.

The Paradise Double Ice Complex (including the Body Quest Fitness Centre) and the Rotary Paradise Youth and Community Centre are open for regular programming. The Splash Pad at Paradise Park will also be open.

There is no change to garbage and recycling collection.

July 6: Topsail Rd. Detours Extended for Emergency Repairs

Residents are advised that due to emergency repairs on the construction site, the detours on Topsail Road will remain in place this evening (July 6) until necessary work is completed. Topsail Road will remain closed during this time.

The Town of Paradise apologises for any inconvenience that this may cause, and will issue an update once detours close for the evening.

PSA: Street Upgrades and Paving Operations

The Town of Paradise is advising residents of upcoming street upgrades and paving operations for the following areas:

• St. Thomas Line, Lanark Drive to Ridgewood Drive (start July 6, 2017)
• Topsail Pond Road, various sections (start July 6, 2017)
• Maple Drive, various sections (start week of July 10)
• St. Thomas Line, civic 271 to Seascape Drive (start week of July 10)  

During the road work, efforts will be made to minimize impact on traffic flow, however residents can expect traffic delays in the areas....

Town Facility closures in effect for the Canada Day Holiday

Paradise Double Ice Complex (including the Body Quest Fitness Centre) and the Rotary Paradise Youth and Community Centre are closed Saturday, July 1 in observance of the Canada Day Holiday. Paradise Park will be open for the Canada Day Celebrations.

Paradise Town Hall is closed on Monday, July 3, 2017. There is no change to the garbage and recycling collection.
