The Town of Paradise is advising residents that road work will begin next week on the Karwood Drive and Topsail Road intersection. The work includes curb, gutter and sidewalk realignment, installation of traffic light sensors installation, and pole realignment at the intersection of Karwood Drive and Topsail Road. Town Closures in Observance of Discovery Day Holiday

The Town of Paradise is advising residents that Paradise Town Hall, Paradise Double Ice Complex (including the Body Quest Fitness Centre) and the Rotary Paradise Youth and Community Centre are closed on Monday, June 26 for the Discovery Day Holiday. There is no change to the garbage and recycling collection.
PSA: Annual Flushing of Dead End Hydrants to Begin

The Town of Paradise advises the public that, starting Wednesday, June 21, 2017, scheduled flushing of dead end hydrants begins on Topsail Road, Paradise Road, St. Thomas Line, and all roads off of those listed, in accordance with the Town’s water system and fire flow protection maintenance programs.
Hydrant flushing will occur between 8:30 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. Monday to Friday and will run for approximately three weeks.

Garbage Box Removals Begin June 12

The Town started collecting garbage boxes not removed from the front of property lines on June 12, 2017.
Automated Garbage Collection uses Town-supplied wheeled carts and garbage boxes are no longer needed as part of the waste collection. Garbage boxes left at the end of driveways and near the road create problems for the automated garbage collection.
You can keep your garbage box as long as it's not at the front of your property. You can re-purpose your garbage box; some uses include:

Emergency Repairs to Donna Road Pump Station

UPDATE: Tuesday, May 30, 11:15 a.m. Emergency repairs to the Donna Road Pump Station are complete and water is restored to all areas affected. Residents are asked to run their water for a few minutes after the connection is restored in the event of discoloured water. The Town of Paradise apologizes for any inconvenience.
