The Town Hall will be closed for the day on September 30, to recognize National Day for Truth and Reconciliation. The Paradise Double Ice Complex (including Fitness Centre) and Rotary Paradise Youth and Community Centre will be closed until 2 p.m.
Due to the National Day of Truth and Reconciliation, garbage collection regularly scheduled for Friday, September 30, 2022 for Area 4A&B and recycling collection for Area 4A will be collected on Monday, October 3, 2022.

The Town of Paradise advises of a temporary road closure on Evergreen Drive, between Ashgrove Drive and Carlisle Street, on Monday, September 26. The road will close at 9 a.m. and re-open by 5 p.m. as new water and sewer infrastructure is installed. During the road closure, access to Evergreen Village will be via Elizabeth Drive. All drivers are asked to use caution in the area and to follow signage and traffic control procedures. The Town apologizes for any inconvenience caused by this work.

The Town of Paradise advises that work is scheduled to resume on the centre island of the Topsail Road – McNamara Drive roundabout on Monday, September 19. Crews will be onsite to complete the landscaping (planting of trees and greenery) in the centre island and the work is expected to take approximately two weeks to complete, weather permitting.
To accommodate equipment entering the centre island, there may be partial lane closures in the roundabout, these will not occur during the morning...

The Government of Newfoundland and Labrador has declared Monday, September 19, 2022 as a day to honour the memory of Her late Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. As such, all Town of Paradise facilities, including the Town Hall, Paradise Double Ice Complex and Fitness Centre, will be closed for the day on September 19.

On behalf of the Town of Paradise, we extend sincere condolences to the Royal Family on the passing of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. As reigning Monarch for 70 years, she lived a remarkable life dedicated to service and showed the true meaning of tireless dedication. We know she will be remembered for generations to come. The flags at the Town Hall will be flown at half-mast in respect of the passing of Her Majesty.
