Call for Fitness Instructors

The Town of Paradise is seeking passionate, independent contractors to instruct various fitness programming and classes throughout the year. To be eligible to instruct group fitness classes you will require:

• Group Fitness Certification or equivalent certifications/qualifications to instruct specific classes
• Proof of Insurance
• Clear RNC Certificate of Conduct and Vulnerable Sector Check
• Current First Aid/CPR/AED certification

Paradise Park Closure (July 17, 2021)

Due to the 50th Anniversary Celebration, Main Event on Saturday, July 17, 2021, Paradise Park, including the dog park, volleyball courts, and splash pad, will be closed.

Only people with tickets to the Main Event will have access to the Park.  

Notice Regarding Use of Fireworks

The Town notifies residents, as part of the #Paradise50 Main Event Concert, there will be fireworks on the night of Saturday, July 17, 2021, at approximately 10:00 p.m.

PSA: New Roundabout Construction at McNamara Drive and Dianne Whalen Dive

Construction of the new, single-lane roundabout at the intersection of McNamara Drive and Dianne Whalen Drive is expected to start the week of July 12, 2021. The work is a project of the Provincial Department of Transportation and Infrastructure and is part of the new Intermediate School. 

While this work is ongoing, the Town is installing sidewalks on both sides of McNamara Drive, from Sarah Davis Way to Dianne Whalen Drive, to connect with crossings in the new roundabout. The Town is also...
