Our Municipal Enforcement Officers, along with the Royal Newfoundland Constabulary (RNC), issued several tickets this past weekend (August 28-29) to ATV and dirt bike users for driving without a licence plate, operating without insurance, and operating on a highway. These tickets were issued as part of on-going patrols to address the illegal use of ATVS in the Town of Paradise.

The Town of Paradise has been notified by the Chief Medical Officer of Health that out of an abundance of caution, residents are being advised that based on wastewater testing, the virus that causes COVID-19 has been detected in the Town. Public Health advises that while this result is not a cause for alarm, it indicates that the COVID-19 virus is in the area. The Town of Paradise today officially opened its newest recreation amenity – Farrell’s Lookout, a natural park area on Tilting Place. Mayor Dan Bobbett and Councillors were joined by representatives of the Farrell Family for the event.
