PSA: Traffic Lights at Carlisle Drive and Topsail Road

The Town of Paradise is advising residents that work on the traffic lights at the intersection of Carlisle Drive and Topsail Road will begin on Monday, August 31. The project will improve the sequencing of the traffic lights at the intersection and is expected to take approximately one week to complete. The Town of Paradise is advising that sanitary sewer smoke testing will start on Wednesday, September 2. The Town of Paradise is advising residents that road work and culvert installation is scheduled for Irving Drive, in the vicinity of the Gifford Building. The work will start on Tuesday, August 18 and is expected to be finished by the end of the week. All drivers are asked to use caution in the area and to follow signage and traffic control procedures. The Town of Paradise is advising residents that Phase III of McNamara Drive Sanitary Sewer work begins Monday, August 17. This project is to upgrade the sewer system for the area from 107 McNamara Drive to the intersection with Kenmount Road and Bremingen’s Boulevard. The Town of Paradise is advising residents that grinding and paving work is scheduled for sections of St. Thomas Line, in both the northbound and southbound lanes, on August 14 and 15. The grinding work is scheduled for Friday, August 14 and the areas will be paved on Saturday, August 15, weather permitting.
