The Town of Paradise is advising residents that grinding and paving work is scheduled for Topsail Road (between Carlisle Drive to Topsail Pond Road) in both eastbound and westbound lanes on June 16-17. Grinding work is scheduled for Tuesday, June 16 and the area will be paved on Wednesday, June 17. During the work, traffic delays can be expected. The Town of Paradise is currently preparing to operate a limited Summer Day Camp program for Summer 2020 in accordance with public health guidelines. For 2020, the Summer Day Camp program will run from July 6 to August 28, at the Paradise Double Ice Complex, and will offer a fun and enjoyable experience for all participants. The Town of Paradise today provided an update on the opening and available amenities for Town parks. Paradise Park – open effective Saturday, June 13The main green space, the dog park, and the beach volleyball court are open for public use. The playground area and the canteen remain closed as required under Alert Level 3. The Town of Paradise is advising residents that pothole repair will take place in the area of 1366 Topsail Road (Irving Service Station) on Wednesday, June 3, 2020. The work will be the westbound curb lane and traffic delays can be expected in the area. Two traffic lanes will be open for the evening commute. All drivers are asked to use caution in the area and to follow signage and traffic control procedures. The Town apologizes for any inconvenience caused by this work.
