Curbside Recycling Collection Resumes

Effective Tuesday, May 5, 2020 curbside recycling collection will resume. It will follow the current 2020 collection calendar. For the week of May 5 to 8, recycling collection will be for Area B. Recycling must be placed to the curb by 8 a.m. on your collection day, and remember to have it spaced from the garbage cart. Flushing of Dead end Hydrants

The Town of Paradise advises that flushing of dead end hydrants begins on Monday, April 27, 2020. This is part of the Town’s water system and fire flow protection maintenance programs. The St. John’s Regional Fire Department wishes to advise all citizens that a fire advisory is currently in effect within the Region which includes the City of St. John’s, City of Mount Pearl, and Town of Paradise. All permits for open fires are banned, however, contained fires such as firepits and chimineas that are purchased, installed and utilized as per manufacturer’s instructions are permitted. Based on the positive response to the special drop-off, the Town is offering a weekly Recycling Drop-off. The service is offered for the residents of the Town of Paradise.
