The 2020 annual line painting and maintenance program is underway and will continue over the coming months. It includes traffic lines, edge lines, crosswalks, stop bars, margins and arrows throughout the Town. Drivers are asked to follow all posted signage and to use caution when in the area and around work crews.

With the current public health guidelines in place in response to COVID-19, large events and gatherings are permitted to take place for Summer 2020. This means that the Town of Paradise is not able to host its regular events, including Canada Day celebrations and SunSplash Paddle in Paradise festival. The Town is currently preparing to operate a restricted Summer Day Camp program for Summer 2020 in accordance with public health guidelines. The Chief Medical Officer of Health for Newfoundland and Labrador has released a plan for living with COVID-19, "A Foundation for Living with COVID-19".
