This week (February 24-28), the Town is doing street widening 24 hours a day. With the favourable forecast for this week, the Town is taking the opportunity to maximize its street widening work. Town Launches Consultations on T’Railway Use

The Town of Paradise today announced a consultation process on the use of the T’Railway within the municipality. The purpose of the consultation is to hear from residents about designating the trail non-motorized.  “Our Recreation and Open Space Master Plan identified the need to complete upgrades to the section of T’Railway within our Town. Snow Clearing Update - 6:00 p.m. Friday, February 21, 2020

Throughout this weekend (February 22-23), work will be ongoing with street widening and sidewalk clearing operations:

• Street widening is scheduled for St. Thomas Estates and clearing of cul-de-sacs in the Trail’s End and Adams Pond areas
• Sidewalk clearing is scheduled for Topsail Road and Priority 2 sidewalks.

This work may be altered should weather conditions change and crews have to address immediate needs.  This winter has brought record snowfalls to the region, which is impacting snow clearing...

Traffic Light Repair (Karwood and Topsail Intersection)

The Town of Paradise advises that repairs will be completed on the traffic lights at the intersection of Karwood Drive and Topsail Road today, Thursday, February 13, 2020.

While the repair work is being done, the traffic lights will be disabled and drivers are asked to treat the intersection as a four-way stop. Temporary traffic signage will be in place. St. Thomas Line Closure: February 4, 2020

UPDATE - Tuesday, February 4, 3:25 p.m: Work continues on St. Thomas Line and the detour through Carlingford St. remains in place. Traffic control is on site and will facilitate traffic flow for the evening commute. The work is expected to be finished tonight (Tuesday, February 4).
