UPDATE: 2:40 p.m., January 2, 2018 - Water is now restored to the area of St. Thomas line, from Whelans Crescent to the north boundary of Town. Residents are reminded to run water for a few minutes to avoid discolouration.
The Town of Paradise advises of a water shut-off affecting the area of St. Thomas line from Whelans Crescent to the north boundary of the Town on January 2, 2018.

Residents in the St Thomas Line area, north of Whalen's Road, are advised that they may experience reduced water pressure due to a water main leak. Crews have been on site and are monitoring the situation. Repair work is planned for Tuesday, January 2, 2018.

For Budget 2018, the Town of Paradise has decreased its operating budget and continued to lower its debt-servicing ratio while maintaining the current residential and commercial mil rates. The $35.7 million balanced budget was presented during the regular council meeting on December 19, 2017.
