Recycling Collection Area 1A: Tuesday, March 3

Recycling Collection for Area 1A is ongoing this evening, Tuesday, March 3 and is expected to be completed by 8 p.m. Garbage Collection for Area 1A&B is completed. The Town apologizes for the inconvenience.

Snow Clearing Update – Monday, March 2, 2020

Crews were working on snow clearing operations all day and as of 8 p.m., Monday, March 2, the following has been completed:

• all lanes are open on Topsail Road,
• collector roads are widened to two lanes,
• most local roads have at least one lane open with many having two lanes, and
• most cul-de-sacs have one cut through the area.

Crews will be working throughout the evening to continue to open and widen local roads; overnight, work will shift to clear Priority 1 sidewalks in immediate school areas. The...

Delayed Opening: Friday, February 28

Due to current weather conditions, the Paradise Town Hall will have a delayed opening today, Friday, February 28 and open at 11 a.m.  The Paradise Double Ice Complex is closing and reopen to the public for 11 a.m. Recycling Collection for Area 4B is cancelled for today and will be collected next Friday, March 6. There is no change to Garbage Collection for Area 4A&B. 

Snow Clearing Update - February 27

Street widening operations will continue tonight (Thursday, February 27), however, should the weather change, crews will need to stop widening work and move to regular snow clearing operations. Street widening is scheduled for the Pleasantview Avenue and Adams Pond areas with cul-de-sac clearing scheduled for the Elizabeth Park area.

Street widening operations remain on a 24 hour basis and tonight (Wednesday, February 26), work is scheduled to continue in the Elizabeth Park area, as well as the Valley Ridge and Woodstock Gardens areas.
