The Town of Paradise has lifted the 24 hour parking ban that was put in place at assist with snow clearing from the record snowfall.
Residents are reminded the Winter Parking Ban remains in effect until March 31. Vehicles are not permitted to be parked on Town streets between the hours of 1 and 8 a.m., or any time during a snowfall and for 24 hours thereafter.

Crews continue to work to clean up from the record snowfall. This past weekend (January 25-26), crews made good progress and were able to widen more streets than scheduled. At this point, all streets have been widened by either a loader or snow blower. Crews will continue with street widening operations with the large snow blowers throughout this weekend (Saturday, January 25 and Sunday, January 26). The scheduled streets are: Thomas Estates area, Trails End Drive area, Elizabeth Drive, Burnaby Street, Croydon Street, Mallow Drive, Clearview Heights, Seascape Drive, Morgan Avenue, Stormont Street, Pleasantview Avenue and Fred Brown Drive. The Town is offering an additinal opportunity for a special garbage and recycling drop-off.
To assist residents deal with the the inconvenience of cancelling garbage and recycling collection for a full week, the Town is offering a special garbage and recycling drop-off on Saturday, January 25. For residents who are able, garbage and recycling can be dropped off at the Milton Road Ball Field from 8:)0 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. All garbage and recycling must be in proper bags and staff will be on site.

On Friday (January 24) afternoon, street widening with the large snowblowers is scheduled to continue in Thomas Estates and Trails End Drive area and a crew will start on Elizabeth Drive. Hydrant clearing is on-going. Please ensure all vehicles are moved off the streets, stay away from snow banks and road ways, and keep a safe distance from all equipment.
