Summer Safety Message

Congratulations to all of our teachers and students on a successful 2017/18 school year. It's time to get outside and enjoy summer in Paradise! Children will be taking a break from the school routine and playing in our neighbourhoods, parks and playgrounds. During the break we ask that motorists please use extra caution and reduce speeds to ensure all of our children stay safe while out having fun this summer. We wish all of our students and teachers a safe and happy summer.
PSA: Road work resumes on Topsail Road Phase IV

The Town of Paradise is advising residents that beginning July 4, 2018 work will resume on Topsail Road from Christopher Street to St. Thomas Line. This work is required to complete the Topsail Road Phase IV project and includes work to raise manholes and apply final surface asphalt.
Road work will occur from 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and is expected to run for approximately two weeks. During this construction efforts will be made to minimize impacts on traffic flow, especially during peak morning and evening...
Increase Patrols for ATV Usage

The Town of Paradise Municipal Enforcement Officers (MEO) in conjunction with the Royal Newfoundland Constabulary (RNC) conducted patrols throughout the Town this weekend focused on illegal use of All Terrain Vehicles (ATV) and dirt bikes. As a result of the patrols, five tickets were issued for illegal use of ATVs within Paradise. Road Closure for St. Thomas Line: Moonlight Dr. to Stapletons Rd.

The Town advises of an immediate road closure for St. Thomas Line between Moonlight Dr. and Stapletons Rd. due to flooding. The public are asked to avoid the area and use an alternative route as the road is closed. Crews are on site working to address the issue.
Municipal Awareness Day 2018

On April 24 and 25 Grade 6 students from Elizabeth Park Elementary, Paradise Elementary, Octagon Pond Elementary and Holy Family Elementary joined us at the Town of Paradise for our 2018 Municipal Awareness Days.
Each year this event provides an opportunity for students to learn about the Town, what we do, and how we operate. Students had a chance to visit departmental and community information booths, chat one-on-one with the Mayor, win prizes, and more.
