The Town of Paradise yesterday (April 17, 2018) responded to the Information and Privacy Commissioner on report P-2018-003 which recommended that the Town cease its video surveillance system. In its response, the Town notified the Commissioner that it would be applying to the Supreme Court Newfoundland and Labrador Trial Division for a declaration that it is not required to comply with the recommendation in the report. Residents are advised that due to weather conditions, garbage (Areas 1A and 1B) and recycling collection (Area 1B) scheduled for today, Monday, April 9 has been cancelled. Area 1 collections are rescheduled for Wednesday, April 11, and will take place along with regular collections for Area 3. The Town apologizes for any inconvenience this cancellation may cause.

The Town of Paradise advises residents that in observance of Good Friday on March 30, the Town Hall and all recreation facilities (including the Paradise Double Ice Complex) are closed.
Garbage collection (Area 5A and 5B) and recycling collection (Area 5B) will move ahead by one day, with collections taking place Saturday, March 31, 2018. Please remember to have carts and recyclables to the curb by 8:00 a.m.
