Reminder to all motorists to please use extra caution and reduce speeds in all our school areas, including Topsail Road in the vicinity of the newly opened Octagon Pond Elementary. With construction soon to begin on Topsail Road near the new school, the Town has installed temporary signage to indicate that this area is now a school zone. Once construction is complete, permanent signage, as well as a new crosswalk will be installed. Let’s all do our part to keep our roads and school zones safe!
