The Town of Paradise advises residents that in observance of Good Friday on March 30, the Town Hall and all recreation facilities (including the Paradise Double Ice Complex) are closed.
Garbage collection (Area 5A and 5B) and recycling collection (Area 5B) will move ahead by one day, with collections taking place Saturday, March 31, 2018. Please remember to have carts and recyclables to the curb by 8:00 a.m.

The public are advised of a motorcade taking place on Saturday, March 24 in recognition of Liam Hickey’s accomplishments in sledge hockey at the Pyeongchang Paralympic Winter Games. Traffic interruptions or slowdowns may be experienced on Karwood Drive, Topsail Road (Karwood Drive to McNamara) and McNamara Drive (Topsail Road to Sarah Davis Way) between 11:30 a.m. and noon.

The Town of Paradise has launched a new Waste Disposal Assistance Program. It offers rebates to offset the cost of clearing home septic tanks. To be eligible for the program, residents must meet criteria.

The Town of Paradise is advising the public of new pedestrian activated traffic lights at the intersection of Sargent Donald Lucas Drive and Topsail Road. The lights are currently flashing to alert the public of their presence. Weather permitting the crosswalk will be painted on March 8, 2018 at which time the pedestrian activated lights will become fully operational.
