Temporary Water Shut-off for Evergreen Village -October 21

UPDATE (Oct 21) - The planned, temporary water shut-off for Evergreen Village has been extended to 6:00 p.m. this evening. The Town apologizes for any inconvenience.

The Town of Paradise advises of a planned, temporary water shut-off for Evergreen Village for Thursday, October 21, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The water shut-off is required to complete repairs to the main water line in the area.

Installation of Water Sampling Sites on Topsail Road

The Town of Paradise is advising residents that water sampling stations are being installed at the following locations:

• Topsail Road at the vicinity of Woodstock Public House (starting October 14, 2021)
• Topsail Road at Donna Road Pumphouse (starting October 15, 2021)
• Topsail Road at Elizabeth Drive (starting October 19, 2021)

Portion of Adam’s Pond Trail Closed - Starting October 12

The Town of Paradise is advising residents that a section of Adam’s Pond Trail will be closed starting on Tuesday, October 12 to facilitate work in the area. The section of trail between Archibald Drive and Glenderek Drive will be closed until October 22 while work is on-going, it will be open during the weekend of October 16 and 17. Residents are asked to avoid the area and to follow all posted signage. The Town apologizes for any inconvenience caused by this work. 

2021 Thanksgiving Day Closures

In observance of the Thanksgiving Holiday, all Town facilities, including the Town Hall and Paradise Double Ice Complex, are closed on Monday, October 11, 2021.   There is no change to garbage collection.   We wish everyone a safe and enjoyable Thanksgiving weekend!

 

Halloween Family Fun Day

It's that spooky time of year, and the Town of Paradise wants to get you into the Halloween spirit! Join us on Saturday, October 16, at Paradise Park for a Halloween Family Fun Day! There will be ghost bowling, a pumpkin toss, a fun wagon ride around the park, and MORE! Registration opens on Friday, October 8 at 9:00 a.m.
