PSA: Peter Barry Duff Memorial Park Partial Opening, Field Light Installation Continues

The Town of Paradise is advising that light installation continues at the Peter Barry Duff Memorial Park large ball field and the project is expected to be completed by mid-July. While the large baseball field remains closed, installation work is now at a point where areas of the park can be partially opened. The Town of Paradise advises that work will be conducted on the traffic lights at the Topsail Road-McNamara Drive-Clearview Heights intersection on Wednesday, June 12 and Thursday, June 13. The work will be completed between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. each day, and the traffic lights will be deactivated intermittently during that time. Ongoing construction projects in the Town of Paradise for the period of June 8-14 include:
- Karwood Roundabout: Due to the impending forecast, paving scheduled for Saturday, June 8 is postponed. An update will be provided when the work is rescheduled.

The Town of Paradise advises that work will be conducted on the traffic lights at the Topsail Road-McNamara Drive-Clearview Heights intersection on Monday, June 10. The Economic Developers Association of Newfoundland and Labrador (EDANL) presented their 2018 Economic Development Awards of Excellence at the recent EDANL Conference held in Deer Lake.
