Canada Day Closures and Scheduling Changes

Due to the Canada Day Holiday on Monday, July 1, Paradise Town Hall, Paradise Double Ice Complex (including the BodyQuest Fitness Centre) and other Town facilities will be closed.

Residents are also advised that the Garbage and Recycling Collection schedule will move ahead by one day next week. The revised schedule is as follows:

Construction Project Update: June 21, 2019

Ongoing construction projects in the Town of Paradise for the period of June 24-28 include:

• Karwood Roundabout: All road work is finished for this project, line painting will be completed as weather permits.

PSA: Final Paving Operations for Karwood Roundabout

The Town of Paradise advises that paving operations for the Karwood Roundabout will be completed on Thursday, June 20. The work will begin at 9:00 a.m. and is scheduled to be completed by 4:00 p.m. This work is to place the second (final) layer of asphalt. PSA: Work at Intersection of Topsail Road and McNamara Drive

The Town of Paradise is advising that road work will take place at the intersection of Topsail Road – McNamara Drive – Clearview Heights to complete installation of underground infrastructure. The work will begin Wednesday, June 19 and is scheduled to be completed by Saturday, June 22.  To accommodate the work, the traffic lights will be deactivated daily from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and traffic control will be in place with flagpersons directing all traffic through the intersection. PSA: Peter Barry Duff Memorial Park Partial Opening, Field Light Installation Continues

The Town of Paradise is advising that light installation continues at the Peter Barry Duff Memorial Park large ball field and the project is expected to be completed by mid-July.
