Every four years, municipalities are required to hold an election. On Thursday, October 2, 2025, the Town of Paradise will hold an election to fill the positions of Mayor and Councillors.
The Advanced Polling day is on Saturday, September 27, 2025 at the Paradise Double Ice Complex.
When voting in this year's 2025 Municipal General Election, at either the Advance Poll (September 27) or on Election Day (October 2), voters must bring a valid government issued ID.
Paradise operates under an "at-large" system in which its elected officials are chosen to represent the Town as a whole.

September 26- Update on Mail-in Voting for 2025 Town of Paradise Municipal Election:
For the current Municipal Election, the Town of Paradise offered mail-in voting. Residents had to register to receive a mail-in voting kit, and all kits were issued prior to the Canada Post labour disruption. To date, 106 mail-in voting kits are not yet returned.
Given the current Canada Post labour disruption will likely impact the return of outstanding kits, the Town will email those impacted residents and outline the following options:
1) Mail-in Kit Not Returned - for any residents who have not yet returned their mail-in voting kit, it can be placed in the secure drop box outside the Paradise Double Ice Complex anytime before 8 pm on October 2. It can also be dropped off on Election Day at any of the three polling stations between 8 am to 8 pm.
2) In-person Voting – once the Town has confirmed with residents that their mail-in kit was not returned, they can vote in-person on Election Day at the designated polling location for their civic address. Visit paradise.ca/elections to view polling locations.
3) Mobile Poll – any resident who is not able to vote in-person on Election Day can request a mobile poll to visit their home. To arrange for this, please email elections@paradise.ca or call 709.782.1400 and staff will follow-up to make arrangements.
Any residents who believe they are impacted by the Canada Post labour disruption are advised to check their email or contact the Returning Officer at elections@paradise.ca
