Repairs have started at the St. Thomas Line / Topsail Road Lift Station and are expected to be completed in approximately four weeks. At times, there may be traffic interruptions as equipment and trucks work in the area. As of September 3, external pumper trucks were no longer required on the site full-time as external equipment keeping the lift station operational while repairs are ongoing. The Paradise Town Council today responded to a recent letter circulated by the Paradise Soccer Club to its membership. The Town of Paradise advises that access to Camrose Drive via Paradise Road will be unavailable beginning 7 a.m. Wednesday, October 9 until Friday, October 11. Access to Camrose Drive will be available via Deborah Lynn Heights on St. Thomas Line. The access closure is needed to prepare the section of road for paving as part of the Paradise Road Upgrades Phase III. The Town of Paradise is advising of a planned water shut-off on Tuesday, October 1 for Archibald Drive. The water will be shut-off at 9 a.m. and will be restored by 5 p.m. It is required as part of the road work on-going in the area. The Town apologizes for any inconvenience.

Work is ongoing at the St. Thomas Line / Topsail Road Lift Station. Following from the equipment malfunction on August 12, crews have been working to get the station operational, assess the matter and plan for appropriate repairs. External equipment was brought to the site and it has been operational for the past several weeks.
